Western Hemlock
The Western Hemlock we supply is sourced from British Columbia, Canada.
Western Hemlock is an excellent interior timber with a consistent, beautiful grain structure. It offers a wide range of design options, including panelling, mouldings, joinery and stairs.
It is denser than Western Red Cedar, although not as durable, and is not suitable in its natural state to be used in exterior applications.
Western Hemlock sands smoothly, glues easily and has high screw and nail-holding ability.
We highly recommend this product for internal ceiling and wall panelling. The finish adds warmth and light to the room and makes spaces appear more prominent.
